I’m not willing to let any of the Constitution slide. But when you don’t have a case......
You have to pick your battles. I don’t think we should be trying to tie the Constitutionality of the New Deal and Medicare into this case either. Let’s get our freedoms won back and launch a seperate battle to see the birth certificate.
Seriously bad strategy to muddy the waters combining with a lawsuit that keeps getting dismissed.
Your missing the point. This isn’t about the birth certificate.
Right now, there is an (alleged) POTUS, commading our military and signing “legislation” into law & signing treaties with other country’s who was BORN the subject of a FOREIGN gov’t. Even HE admits this.
Health care is a massive monstrosity. However, having an unconstitutional POTUS is even bigger than that, or any other single piece of legislation. Would you be OK with an illegal alien being “pushed” into the office of the Presidency? Of course not. Why not? Simple. Not Constitutionally qualified. Guess what. Neither is Barry.
There is no doubt that in the beginning, NOBODY in a position of power to “do” anything about this was going to stick their neck out on the line to “bring down” the first black president (who really is more white and arabic than black), no matter what he did.
Things are changing now that his popularity is in the toilet.
This “battle” is indeed a most difficult one. But so is getting rid of Barrycare. Just watch.
The country has fallen far from the intent of the Constitution in many areas. Because it will be difficult to get back to were we should be doesn’t mean it’s a battle not worth fighting.
If the office of the Presidency can be successfully usurped, and the precedent set, it’s likely to happen again.
Want to stop ALL of his madness, including Barrycare, go strait to the root and expose him as the usurper he is.
Remember, it took over 2 years for Watergate to eventually bring Nixon down.
I choose to fight for ALL of the Constitution.
IOW, lets just "let it slide".
Good think Patton didn't think that way, the Germans would still be in Antwerp.
“Seriously bad strategy to muddy the waters combining with a lawsuit that keeps getting dismissed.”
Agree. This could get the whole case over the health care bill thrown out of court. It’s not a good idea.
