Jesus Gay Play Tomorrow in Cowboy Capital

A student play depicting Jesus Christ as the “King of the Queers” will be performed tomorrow morning at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas and the citizens of the small mostly Christian town steeped in cowboy culture are none too pleased about the situation.

Well, like it or not our Constitution grants them the right to do this.

Aside: I was happily surprised last week when I drove by a local, public middle school and seen a sign out front of the bldg announcing that The Passion of the Christ (Mel Gibson's movie) would be shown at the school.
