Can anyone recall a time in American history when politicians lived in physical fear of ordinary, middle class, working Americans?

I don’t mean fringe whackjobs like the Weather Underground in the 60s and 70s or the so-called “anarchists” of the late 19th centurey.

I mean average, productive, tax-paying Americans like the Tea Partiers.

I can’t identify any such time off the top of my head (obviously, putting aside the actual hostilities of the Civil War).

Today's politicians with guilty consciences working overtime and thinking how they can possibly avoid their constituents who are not exactly pleased (in fact, anything BUT pleased) with their so-called "representatives."

It was disconcerning when Kruschev threatened to bury us all, and here we are living in fear of just that courtesy of Obamacare via Medicare cuts and death panels.

No, I cannot recall either..... But I do know I have never been so angry with our representatives nor have I ever been so terrified for our country with the administration that is in power. They are destroying this country worse than if an army had arrived on our shores.

THIS is what I find so exciting...the idea that we’re scaring them, in their ivory towers. So be it...this is what they have asked for. NOW, we have to get to the uninformed....

I find that anonymously snail mailing info to uninformed people (or, distributing info via plastic door hangers on their mailboxes) gives a great sense of empowerment. Granted, it’s a small amount of money involved, but, when I can’t spend $100 to contribute to a candidate’s campaign, twenty dollars spent on postage and copies MAY influence some ignats that don’t realize what is happening right under their uninformed noses. If the mainstream media won’t inform them, we should.

Some people need to be “spoon-fed”.

It’s a small undertaking, but if EVERYONE did it, it could accomplish a lot before elections.
