Beginning with her endorsement of Doug Hoffman in the NY-23, we take for granted how much her name lends legitimacy to the Tea Party movement and to ALL the *contested* primaries going on in the country, INCLUDING the one in Arizona!

The fact is: J.D. Hayworth himself has benefitted from the momentum largely initiated by Sarah Palin.

You have written such an excellent essay, full of common sense, hope and integrity that I enjoyed every word.

Another Freeper, JohnHuang2 ( :^) ) also writes extraordinary essays and political commentary that just make ya want more and more.

You two should collaborate sometime..my guess..you both could write for Sarah when she takes the White House!!

“though I personally am not too impressed with J.D. Hayworth”

I find myself agreeing to some extent, although it’s based only on what I’ve seen in a handful of cable network interviews of Hayworth.

By picking her and introducing her to the world stage, John McCain has done more for this country and more for conservatism than any other Republican serving in office right now--and that includes Bachmann, Ryan, Pence, and Demint, etc...

There's an old saying that goes something like "You dance with the one which brought ya."

Hardly anyone on FR knew who Sarah Palin was before John McCain picked her to run as V.P. and the fact is we do owe him a thank-you for picking her. She's done more to unify the Conservative base across the Republican and Democrat parties than anyone else, and brought the Independents into the Tea Party movement. NO doubt that there wouldn't be as many people "awake" today without her.

Congress declared war on the American People last week by seizing control of our Health Care system. Sarah's leading us into battle. Some just need to cut her some slack. She knows exactly what she's doing.

"we take for granted how much her name lends legitimacy to the Tea Party movement"

While I am delighted that she has joined in the opposition to Obama and Company, the above statement is pure nonsense. The Tea Party movement was out in front on the effort to oppose HC and Cap & Trade long before Sarah got involved. This movement has been building up steam for over a year and has no single leader who "lends legitimacy" to it. It's legitimacy comes from average citizens from all walks of life who have gotten involved because they fear for our future.

He has literally put his life on the line in the service of this country and has the scars to prove it. Can't say that about most of his fellow Republicans serving in Congress, even the most "conservative" ones.

John McCain is a louse. A vile person who threatens this nation's future. Who gives a crap about his service? That was 40 years ago. He wants to pass Soviet-style industrial policies (Cap n Tax) and wants to destroy by allowing to demographically annex about 9% of the U.S. (assuming 26 million illegals). That is TREASON!

I wont beat around the bush. The man is a scumbag and needs to go. I have NO problem with Sarah Palin helping him. It is loyalty and shows her character. But he will lose and J.D. Hayworth will be the next senator from AZ.

I'm just waiting for someone at FR to start a thread about Sarah Palin being Jesus Christ on here on earth. The worship of one human being on this website is just as scary as the worship of Zero by the Obama Zombies.

Over all these many years John McCain has forgotten everything he ever learned in IFF training.

Wow, the leap of faith for Palin.

I wonder how many of you Palinbots were secretly cheering the fact that Hayworth dropped in the polls when Palin came out publicly and supported McCain.

The Tea Party is about to split. You Palinbots are going to be sitting there supporting Palin as she supports McCain.

Enjoy the ride down as it is starting in Arizona and people get to see her duplicity in principles.
