Patriot,

Please know that there are literally millions of Americans who share your views and frustrations. We’re all asking similar, if not the same, questions.

I’ve always admired Texans. You kick butt and take names later every day of the week. Believe me when I tell you that the rest of this country is watching what Texas does from here on out.

One irony I see in all that is transpiring right now is this; clinging to our guns and our religion is what will see us through. God will provide the wisdom and grace to guide our way and our guns will allow us to defend and feed oursevles if the unthinkable ever happens.

Hang in there. We know how you feel.

I sure appreciate your post. Thank you. In all my angst your post was great to remind me of what I say and think so much, with my wife too when we talk, is that we firmly believe that most people in the U.S. do feel the same as we do about all this garbage. It's just so frustrating and anger inspiring to know that we are a majority in a country founded on majority rule, and we are systematically being ruled and squashed and taxed and legislated into oblivion by the minority, who is simultaneously destroying the very freedoms and liberties that are most important to us, that generations of family have fought and bled and deid for, as a people of a nation. I don't know if it makes me more sad, or angry. I think more angry, but there's nothing to do with it but chew on it and get disgusted at it.

The more time that goes by, the more I keep thinking "Pray to God, watch for Jesus, keep the guns cleaned, loaded and handy, and pay attention, because things really could get really ugly really quickly. It just seems crazy having some of the thoughts I've been having as to what "might" happen, and the past year, I can't just dismiss them as "silly" anymore. It is not good.

And inside your four walls at the end of the day, it's easy to feel like you're not part of the majority. God help us if all Americans who feel like us don't vote it and vote against EVERYONE that voted for commiecare. Because they're ALL the same people destroying the country. Not figuratively, LITERALLY destroying it. Thanks a lot for your post.
