According to the supreme law of the land, our constitution, if and when the federal government becomes tyrannical in nature, it is not only the right, but duty of the people to rise up and overthrow it.
One could argue that this includes defunding said government by refusing to pay taxes as well.
While i’m not advocating this, I do question how such a stance lines up with biblical principle.
I agree with you. As far as paying the taxes, I don’t know. I think that’s one of the things we really have to pray about. I always think about what Jesus said about taxes. But, the fine on the healthcare bill is an entirely different matter all together.
