Honestly, being a resident in Mass, Scott Brown's victory had more to do with him being a great candidate (good looking and charismatic) and Croakley being an arrogant smug witch who thought she was entitled to the seat. He won for the same reasons Obama did as much as I hate to say it. Brown and Hussien O. are both empty suits. Most dems/independents I knew out here voted for Brown for these reasons and not really about health care. People out here are too stupid for complex issues like that (sorry to any freepers here). What Brown did do was energize conservatives around the country which we should be grateful for. We can win in a deep blue state under the right circumstances.

RNC response to President Chaz Bono(D) in 2030:

The Republican Party is strongly opposed to the President's plan to undermine the nation's health care plan by extending it to dolphins.

We, as all good Americans, were happy to see former President Obama's health care initiative enacted into law in 2010. Although our party fought it at the time, we believe that we have been able to work with the Democrat party over the past 20 years to turn it into a workable plan that we can all be proud of.

We were very supportive of extending the plan to cover fertility treatments for gay couples, gender reassignment surgery, and even covering the more highly evolved apes such as gorillas and chimpanzees.

However we must stand opposed to this latest outrage. Dolphins simply are not intelligent enough to deal with the paperwork requirements of maintaining one's health in todays United States. And we are all aware that dolphins are not capable of holding pens and so are unable to fill out all the required forms.

Please stand with us in opposing this outrageous extension to a long-standing and honorable program that has helped so many Americans in so many ways.
