The truth was exposed during his excellent interview with Pam Stout, President of Sandpoint, Idaho Tea Party.
This is not an April Fools’ Day joke either. David Letterman had Pam Stout, the Sandpoint, Idaho Tea Party President on his show the other night. The result?
A very fair and enlightening interview, showing the real face of the Tea Party to many viewers who may have only been believing the lamestream media spin (Racists! Cuckoo pants! Violent Haters!)

Letterman did this for his self-serving reasons; his dumping ratings after his 8 years of trashing Bush and his current trashing and ridicule of Palin. And, I might add, We The People’s every-increasing loathing of Zero.

Nah, not really. Token displays of fairness (and it was a fair interview) are just that, tokens. What I judge Letterman by are the last 15 talentless, bitter, conservative-hating years of his lazy perfomances. He was funny in the late 80s and early 90s. Not since.

I have no time for Letterman at all, but that was a good interview. Really liked the lady too. Sweet and very nice, and she gave a very good impression for the Tea Parties.
Letterman’s ratings are in the toilet where they belong.
Guess they don’t vet their guests over there anymore.
I don’t know what his motives were - but I saw the interview and Dave was restrained and engaging.
Perhaps, it is because she is 60+ years old ... But, Dave asked fairly serious and honest questions, only putting in a joke here and there.
Most importantly, he allowed her to air her views and was respectful of them.
On her part, she was concise and articulate - getting A LOT of applause from the audience as she explaine the Tea Party’s positions.
Kudos to Mrs. Stout! Extremely well done!
No credit goes to Letterman, he's still a talentless punk.

I don’t care for David Letterman, he is a partisan hack...and I don’t care if the Tea Party is branded extremist, racist by liberals. All I want is complete and unapologetic defeat of Obama and the democrats.
I don't know if this Pam Stout person is genuine...she seems to be genuine.
But BEWARE. We have already seen FAKE "Tea Party" folks, who are Democrat operatives...in Florida and Nevada mainly.
I hope this isn't a slow trend for the media to bring in fake tea party people....
She gets on conference calls with Nationwide Tea Party Coalition. I have been on a few of those calls. I assure you she is genuine.
Excellent, job by Pam. She was polite, pleasant, thoughtful, and intelligent. Perfect representation for the Tea Party Movement. : )
