One school ~ I think history is far more important than the substance of Islamic belief when it comes to Afghanistan.

As you recall when you were last there, Alexander the Great was passing through on his way to the Indus and the Afghans subverted his conquest through the simple expedient of giving him a tomboyish girl to go hunting with.

Place ain't changed since. If there's been an Islamic influence in Afghanistan, let me suggest it's been the Afghans imposing their own quaint ignorance on Islam and having that nonsense spread around the world.
