The media will do everything they can in order to determine who the GOP should run for the presidential nomination because they are absolutely petrified of Palin nomination.
She scares the HELL out of them.
As for Palin, I think she will run. Whether she wins is another matter. She might well get the nomination. She might not. But either way her chances are infinitely better than Newt's.
Most definitely the Left fears her. You are so correct.
I just thought it was interesting that Schieffer was so definitive about it. I think he and many other media types despise Palin for what she stands for, and desperately do not want her to run.
Schieffer is also an unpaid flack for the Democrat party.
Democrat reporters know what Republicans are going to do before the Republicans even know.

It would surprise me. I saw him on TV at the SRLC last night and he is seriously overweight. The man would be 70 years old less than six months after inauguration. Reagan, who was a very young and fit 70, was not too old. Gingrich, with a four ply spare tire and moving like a RINO (as well as acting like one) is definitely too old. That contrast with the younger and more vigorous Obama would not be helpful.
That doesn’t even take into account some of his other disabilities, such as his arrogance, his charter membership in the DC Establishment, etc., which would disqualify him as well IMHO.
First off... I dont believe a thing that oozes from the mouths and keyboards of socialists and their lapdogs in the media.
But,
Considering for a second that this was the case, I would not vote for nor support Newt in any way if he were the GOP nominee. Same goes for any RINO POS the GOP may attempt to force upon us.
Note: the Left is wanting to pick our candidate for us, remember what happened last time that happened, remember 2008???
