According to an Reuters online news article USA’s Defense Secretary Robert Gates has said on Tuesday that the nation of Iran is not expected to be capable of having nuclear weapons for about one year. From the news report itself: “Asked about reported comments that Iran might be able to join the nuclear club in months, Gates said: “I don’t believe it.”

Sooo.... all pretense of Iran only using the nuclear materials for ‘power’ has been dropped? I must have missed that. I saw some idiot say Iran should have nuclear arms since Israel did. They conveniently forget the nutjobs in Iran are threatening to wipe out Israel, not the other way around.
