After an enjoyable trip to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, we made this short video. Plan to see the ceremony next time you're in the D.C. area.

Special thanks to all U.S. military veterans who sacrificed to preserve our freedom.
For more information on the ceremony, visit the official website: http://www.arlingtoncemetery.org/ceremonies/sentinelsotu.html
Visited last year with my Father-in-Laws Viet Nam Platoon.
We got to see two wreath ceremonies and the “White Glove”, I believe they called it. It was AWESOME.
“enjoyable”
Odd choice of words
Thanks. We enjoyed the nice weather and felt gratitude for the excellent troops who defend our freedom.
Well, it shows respect for a slain military person.
EVen if they are unidentified, we respect the fact that ALL was given for their country.
I think experts used DNA to identify the unknown soldier from Vietnam, but other unknowns in the tomb remain unidentified.

There are more than one; there are a number of them. Occasionally, when one is properly identified, I think they're removed from the tomb and given their own burial.
Thanks!
IIRC, Those who serve in the honor guard have a particular code of conduct for this detail that they carry on through out the rest of their military careers where ever/what ever that is. Quite remarkable
