So, Don Henley, Toby Keith, and Natalie Maines are all Bush haters. Interesting.
These people are the worst kind of whores. They know good and damn well that the country music crowd is 99% conservative patriots, who supported GWB. And they're going to play to them anyway.

Does it matter that the Chicks' reason they were ashamed of Bush was bogus to us and 0bama's faults should be obvious to anyone? I'm not sure I want to defend that position.
On my drive-time radio this morning the announcer said they’d be giving away tickets to the Eagles/Keith Urban show. He didn’t even mention the Dixie Chicks.
The Eagles’ last album was horrific. Apart from the anti-war politics they tried to shove into it to elevate it and get some attention, it was just awful music.
They have a little more cache with audiences than DC so it can be overcome, but if they’re touring with DC, it’s going to be the BushBash tour.
Cowards. We'll see if they're still on their feet when they get to Hershey. Don't be surprised if there's an "unexpected" cancellation of that show.

I've got some bad news for you. If you take the $195 you have to sit in the front few rows. You won't be allowed to hang out in the back and sneak out part way through the first set.
Toby said something nice about Obama in 2008, and the press ran with it, claiming he supported him for president. And every time a country music thread comes out, someone brings up Toby Keith's comments.
Keith also cited erroneous headlines and reports in the media indicating that he supports Democrat Barack Obama.
“I said that he had a chance to win it as the [party’s] best candidate since Bill Clinton,” Keith said. “I said McCain is very able to run this country, too. Very qualified. ... They didn’t put anything about McCain and Palin. They just put that Toby Keith supports Obama.”
OK I’ll concede(maybe) on this...HOWEVER Timmy McGraw and his Wifey Faith Hill are HUGE DEMS!
Poor Toby. Sounds like he’s got foot-in-mouth disease, and has no concept of public relations. He needs to man up to the flak his statements create, and stop whining about it.
He’s only reinforcing his customer’s suspicions about him by appearing with the infamous “chicks”.
Sorry, but if he can’t figure this stuff out, then he needs a publicist who can.
Ugh - and the worst kind at that - McGraw's music has gotten wussier and wussier the longer he's been married to Hill. I can't bear to hear Faith Hill torture the parody of Joan Jett's music on Sunday Night Football either.
Give me Trace Adkins and Gretchen Wilson any day.
