I totally disagree with Anne!!! I agree that she is doing a fabulous job, hell yes, but we need her to run and win.

They are going to try and demonize whomever wins the nomination. God forbid it`s Romney! If Romney wins, we cant use Rev Wright against Obama! And DONT think that Rev Wright is off the table, when Sarah runs we are going to use all that against Obama. Yes the MSM will scream that nobody wants to hear that, but believe you me, that is what we need to do, Sarah will do it!!!

Obama shares Rev Wright`s views and so does the First Tramp, it will be a legit issue. Remember GW`s days in National Guard, there was no statute of limitations on that.

Romney wins and his Mormon faith takes Rev Wright off the table, sorry case closed. The Mormon Faith will be put on trial if Romney wins the nomination.

If Jim Demint wins, he will be demonized, so this business that Sarah is not electable is CRAPOLA!!!

Sarah will have nobody to tie her hands. If she runs she should hold a weekly presser, taking all and any questions, the stupid questions she can slap down with her charm. Sarah in a press conference standing up behind a podium will be the way to go. If TODAY wants a interview they can come to the presser and ask their question.

Yes Sarah RUN....

First Malkin gets trashed, now Coulter. Who’s next?

That's whining, implying that we were all "trashing" Ann Coulter.

Now go check the rest of the thread, as you obviously haven't.

I trash Ann when its appropriate, just like I praise her when its appropriate. Same as I was with Bush. Same as I am with Palin.

Of course, some fail to realize that its unlikely you'll every agree with a politician (or pundit) 100%. Anyone who does lives in a world with chocolate rivers and gumdrop clouds.

Maybe someone will step forward, but of the candidates that look like they are considering a run, it is Sarah and the RINO’s.

I spoke my mind with what Ann Said, SJB is talking about flaming, you know how his hero RAbs does a lot (he never complains about that, but then he doesn’t recognize his own double standard). Trashing is for those who deserve to be trashed, like the Paulbots and Baldwin bots.

Could not possibly disagree with Ann more.

Sarah Palin has a pleasant way of causing grief and heartburn to liberal Democrats (painting them as weak and ridiculous), much like Reagan did - and this is a very good thing.

She would make a great President - a million times better than the scumbag who defecates in/on the White House now.

I have had enough of “fancy speaking”—I’m ready for some actual action. Palin proved she’s up to that task in her first year as Alaska’s governor.

My son is a big Coulter fan, he has most of her books. That is the reason I went to see her last night. To me she uses her outlandish comments to generate publicity for her books. That said, after listening to her for an hour last night, I came away pretty impressed by the substance of what she said. She uses hyperbole to gain attention, but she does know her stuff.

When I made a comment about her lack of a ‘bendy straw’ for her Diet Coke, she immediately took my bait and launched into a searing indictment of the MSM and what they consider ‘news’. She defended Palin, excoriated MSNBC, reviewed the current pressing issues of the day such as Iran, volcanos, financial reform, etc all in the context of my bendy straw comment. After that, she took actual questions from the audience.

I do like the give and take on FR, but I think the schism between the social conservative types and the more fiscally conservative but libertarian types like myself represents a threat going forward. The social conservatives push their agenda at their peril, because as I observed last night at UWM, the youth who were at the Coulter event are much more liberal in their social views than people from my generation. Call it the result of a generation of MTV, HBO, liberal MSM, but the fact remains that social conservatism among our youth is on the wane. Coulter observed that also, as two of the questions dealt specifcally with gay issues. She had a difficult time balancing the two opposing sides of the argument, and at times seemed to be arguing against herself.

I agree with Ann too.

After endorsing John McCain she still has Star Power but needs to endorse only candidates that that she agrees with, not the ones she likes!

Ann Coulter is a good example of a social conservative who is also a busines type/free marketer.

So is Sarah Palin.

So am I.

The two aren't mutually exclusive or anywhere near that.

ya’ll made excellent rebuttals to questioning whether Sarah Palin could, should or would be the GOP POTUS nominee, based on a premise that she would be so badly damaged by her detractors and their cohorts in the MSM, so as to be unelectable by a majority of voters (in addition to her conservative base).

Her talent as a cheerleader is precisely needed as RNC chairman - to build a solid base and encourage candidates & supporters to reclaim our Constitutional Republic.

IMHO, needed in the WH, following the chaos & destruction of BO, is an executive with military discipline - maturity, experience & stature way beyond the reach of the MSM.

Thanks for the conversation;)
