our FBI and Homeland Security CAUGHT THIS GUY.

My understanding was that this guy was already on a plane that had pulled away from the gate.

Clearly, Homeland security failed. This guy was NOT on a no-fly list, got through security without any special screening and got past government agents staked out at the airport.

Meanwhile, 6 year old girls and feeble old ladies were being pulled aside for random screenings.

The practice of no-profiling for PC-sakes allowed a domestic terrorist to get on a plane.

Homeland security practices were a DISMAL failure in this case and should be thoroughly criticized.

Really?
As with the last guy, HS doesn’t always get the information it needs. Yep, they often fail but in this case, I don’t see that they had the information before or after the failed attack.

Why should this guy have received a special screening? Are you aware that they PURPOSELY let this guy get as far as he could while they monitored his phone? They LET this guy get on the plane in order to get as much information as possible.

Blame our government for these lapses, but not the cops and agents.

Can anyone verify the FACT? that the airline called in that a last minute passenger paid in cash and was suspicious to them?
Note, he was not stopped from boarding.
