Al Gores purchase of a near nine million dollar Montecito mansion with an almost comical carbon footprint (nine bathrooms!) probably means that he has given up on the global warming movement and decided to become a Hollywood producer (not that he ever made much of a distinction between two).
Montecito is where the creme of the Hollywood creme go when Beverly Hills gets too crowded and nouveau riche. Among others, Michael Douglas, Kevin Costner, Christopher Lloyd, Dennis Franz and Oprah have homes there and they dont even have Nobel Prizes. (Douglas and Costner do have Oscars though.)
No word on whether Al is giving up his Nashville manse or his houseboat. This is turning into opera bouffe. But Al always was a man of appetites. If, as La Rochefoucauld famously said, hypocrisy is a sort of homage that vice pays to virtue, then Al is paying more homage on the environment than all the sinners combined paid to all the medieval Popes for all their perversions, real or imagined.
It has been reported that CCX is a LLC registered on the Isle of Man, a noted tax haven. If this is true, Sandors 606 million was tax free as would be any profits made by our former Vice President.

Of course he has given up otherwise why would you buy a house at the beach? Those sea levels aren’t rising after all.
A fat cat who never worked a day in his life is now living like a fat cat should. Al has finally obtained “the American Dream” and he never had to work a day for it.
Gore didn’t live as if global warming was real at any point...this is just the most recent example.
Maybe he just has to go to the bathroom real bad.
Two marks for that bullseye post hitting Obama and Gore!
The Royal scam, climate change. You pay for AlGore to live like a King.
The comments left at the site are frighteningly brilliant.
He needs the nine bathrooms for all the $h*t he generates.
When they started rebuilding New Orleans I knew the libs didn’t really believe in Glowbull Warming.
And maybe Algore wants to get his feet wet when the water submerges his home. After all, with Cuba going underwater, Gore must be giving up on life completely to live so close to the ocean.
