The color scheme that you use on your blog makes it very difficult to read.

But that means everyone who approves of the Arizona law < insert evile organ music here > are RACISTS!!!!! How dare the state even exist?!?! My God, all this time, and we never knew, until this law opened our eyes to the rampant RACISM!!!! run amok in Arizona, and not just there, but running amok across America! (That would be a good name for a band, don't you think? ;-) /sarc

Anyway, why aren't we seeing more news stories out there talking about how the Arizona law MIRRORS FEDERAL LAW ALMOST WORD FOR WORD??? All it does is untie state LEOs hands to "do the job (of law enforcement) that the Feds won't do"!!! >:-(

PS: I follow you on Twitter, never knew you were a FReeper, Mr.K! Love your PJTV shows too! Monkeyshines, what a hoot! ;-)

I think most of us see this as an American issue, not a political issue;however, Obama and Co. see it as a means of consolidating their grip on Latino voters and, in so doing, their grip on power. They will use this issue to paint themselves as the only option for Latinos. We normally don’t do great with Latino voters anyways but we can probably expect to do worse now. having said that, the only states this should really matter in are probably New Mexico and Florida (IMO of course). That just means we need to play a better game in Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, and North Carolina which seems pretty doable if you ask me. We need to see how this issue resonates with the voters of those aforementioned states. That means both the urban and rural voters of those states because I’m sure the two demographics will offer differing opinions to a large extent. We need to play a careful game with this issue, maybe paint it as an Arizona/state’s right issue a little bit.
