So, they did it because their state gov’t healthcare can’t handle the illegals?

It’s not “anti-immigrant,” it’s anti-ILLEGAL immigrant law.

Now, will Deval Patrick sign the law? Will it even pass the house?

The Arizona bill is not really “anti-immigrant”. It’s anti-illegal alien.

One thing this bill does not do is join with other states to eliminate the problem at the boarder.

The border or the illegal "boarders"?

"Mass. Senate Passes Toughest Anti Illegal -Immigrant Law In Country"

Why can't people get this one simple thing right?

As to the subject, good on Massachusetts! Their passage of their own tough illegal immigration law will help forward the momentum for other state legislatures to do likewise.

It is NOT law yet....and probably will be VETOED by the MASS Gov if passed. Don’t think there is much chance it will become law.

But to deny housing and medical attention is unconscionable.

No it's not. Not when that housing and medical attention is being paid for with money that is UNCONSCIONABLY confiscated from the state's taxpayers.

I'm fine with free emergency medical attention for children who've been dragged here by their illegal immigrant parents, but not for the parents -- and as soon as the kid is patched up, parents and children should be deported promptly.

But to deny housing and medical attention is unconscionable.

And the practice has already been struck down once. Remember California's prop 187.

Unconscionable? Morally speaking, you can't be denied what doesn't belong to you, and contrary to popular liberal opinion, you're not entitled to something you haven't worked for.

Some of these people need to be smacked upside the head with a reason bat...
