I reckon most of those warnings are fake.

I’ve had dead deer on the front rack, the back rack,
up hill, down hill, through gravelly ditches in the dark
and dead drunk and ain’t nothing happened at all.

[hubby had me on the back and gunned it up a hill while towing an 18 foot trailer and we didn’t fall over but it sure “got me religion” there for a second]
