I just asked my 11 year old if she remembers anything from pre-school. She said, “not really.”
Kids are different. I was just discussing public schools with my 31 year-old daughter and she remembers quite a bit about her early school days. (She can also draw a floor plan of the apartment she lived in until she was 3 years, 8 months.) My son, on the other hand, remembers very little about our family USA tour which began when he was 8 years, 2 months. (I let you guess which way they vote! But both finished high in their respective high school class rankings and went to prestigious colleges.)
