They wanted to target Ohioans that were exercising their Constitutional right and to set them up for political attacks, they wanted to somehow use the personal information of law abiding citizens as a weapon against them.

God bless Ohio Sheriffs.
At least the Democrats have officially put themselves on the line against the 2nd Amendment

From the dems I would expect no less. Look at the line up against the 5-4 ruling yesterday. Tell me the planet would miss any of those 4.

Gun? What gun? It was stolen out of my car two years ago. I don’t have any gun. I sure wish your government types would get your records straight. Thanks for stopping by.

I thought the papers had automatic access to this information and that slimeballs like the Cleveland plain dealer were making sure to post the information on CCW holders on the internet because, of course, that’s way more important than uncovering the unbelievable corruption at the heart of Cuyahoga county. Has Ohio changed the journalist access law?

And yes, I realize that the Democrat party is not a journalist org. but it’s not like they couldn’t just go to the Plain Dealer website.

This is typical of Democrats. If anyone who conflicts with their lust for power has a right or a privilege, they will constructively infringe it with petty laws and bureaucracies.

For example, remember how the southern Democrats approached Negro voting? With poll taxes and convoluted literacy tests. Democrats invented Jim Crow laws. I expect that we will be faced with a surge of such measure aimed at gun owners.

I can imagine a few right now, but I don’t want to give them any ideas.

They should get toy guns and sneak around the real gun owners properties at night, and pretend to be attempting to break and enter with the apparent intent, or under circumstances of their creation that would cause a reasonable person to believe the actor possessed the intent, to commit any assault or theft of any degree or commit any other felony therein .. . screw it , open fire .

Two can play this game...

Why not research local building permits to determine which Democrats have applied for permits to build swingsets and playhouses for their children?

Remarkably ugly idea, isn’t it? I’m not suggesting anybody actually DO that, but I’d like to shock some Libs into the concept of just what sort of pissing content they’re starting here? Do they have the belly to really follow it to where it will lead?

What Democrats have registered (or documented) large boats or yachts? Publicly available data for anyone willing to do the legwork. They want to play class envy games? Two can play that one, too.

Again, I’m not suggesting. I am observing that Bad Things lie up this road — which IS a terroristic approach to silencing people.

(Remeber the poor slob who got home from his job at the bank, and found 200 Acorn protesters in his front yard? With one of his kids inside, terrified, and locked himself into a bathroom? Are they PROUD of that act?)

The only "change" dems have done in the past 50 years is to come up with new groups to victimize - and new groups to exalt. Other than that, the same corrupt evil tactics are at work...

And thanks, Liberty - don't give them ideas...

Registations everywhere they have ever been done always have lead to eventual confiscation!

Exactly. Never let the government know where the guns are!

If anybody cares to remember, why were the British headed to Lexington and Concord? To capture the rabblerousers and to sieze the stores of armaments. They failed at both, thank Heaven.

...5 out of 9 SCOTUS have said, Don’t tread on the Second Amendment. Ohio is 1 hour south to KY. I have my license and permits. Want to see them? They’re in the wad at the firing end of a musket, so, maybe you should contact me, before you come to my home unannounced...

I can see the list being used to do things like contact your employer and some employers will use that as an excuse to get rid of you, contact your neighbors, etc. Not necessarily contact and harass you personally but through other means.
