I wonder how the BP dead zone compares with the fertilizer dead zone in the gulf. One difference is that the BP dead zone will stop growing when the well is plugged. The fertilizer dead zone will grow as long as fertilizer is washed into the rivers flowing to the gulf. One other difference; the fertilizer dead zone is not mentioned in the main stream media. You have to look it up.
