Hope it’s good enough for me to start using Firefox again. Firefox is feature-wise better than Chrome but till now hasn’t handled pressure as well.
I switched over to Chrome long ago. I got tired of Firefox crashing 3 times a day. Firefox is way too bloated as well IMO
No mention of JAVA acceleration, the “killer app” feature in Chrome.

First I’d heard of that...
Never had a problem with Firefox.. you are a troll!
Seriously. It may be that I was using FF on my work PC, but I never liked it. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
I’ve had some problems with Firefox crashing, not closing entirely on exit, and in past, at least, memory hogging and leaking.
As far as the crashing goes, the restore is pretty good. I suspect some of the problems come from 3rd party software, like AVG anti-virus, which is kind of camel-nosing-into-the-tent with Firefox.
The not closing entirely on exit is an odd one, infrequent, but is a legit glitch. I have to use Task Manager to close it out entirely before it can be restarted.
It has improved considerably as far as memory hogging goes. Right now, for example, I’m only using 125k, which is small indeed compared to what it used to be. A lot of this I gather was fixed by improving the add-ons and themes, which were responsible for a lot of the nonsense.
I had the opposite problem. Chrome was crashing on me so often that I switched back to Firefox. I’m using FF 3.6, and it hasn’t crashed on me yet.
