I think it would have been a more powerful argument for Megyn to have pointed out that the DOJ dropping the case sends a message that nothing will happen to any black who decides to intimidate white voters at polling stations in the future.

An injunction, Kirsten? So what? This "punishment" is supposed to discourage future lawlessness? How does an injunction do that?

Would not a large fine and incarceration perhaps show more seriousness on the part of the DOJ and dispel the charges of the whistleblower?

Maybe not in court. Anybody who tries to prevent me from voting is going to wish they’d stayed in bed.
