Rep. Zach Wamp (R-03) suggested TN and other states may have to consider seceding from the union if the federal government does not change its ways regarding mandates.
I hope that the American people will go to the ballot box in 2010 and 2012 so that states are not forced to consider separation from this government, said Wamp during an interview with Hotline OnCall.
He lauded Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX), who first floated the idea of secession in April 09, for leading the push-back against health care reform, adding that he hopes the American people will send people to Washington that will, in 2010 and 2012, strictly adhere to the constitutions defined role for the federal government.
That was just Kabuki Theater from Rick Perry. He’s all hat and no cattle.
It means people are at least thinking, if not acting yet, against the status quo.
Wamp is a RINO, He is trailing in the polls.
He voted for TARP and Tn will be sending him to South Carolina.
Agreed
agreed as well
Dotto for Wamp, he’s a moderate at best. Halsam is the RINO, Ron Ramsey the Conservative in our governors race. Halsam has the mega bucks to buy the governorship. Pilot Oil.
If sufficient number of states stand their ground, the Feds won't have the troops to send to all of them to enforce their unconstitutional mandates.
Think about it; there are not sufficient resources to send troops to protect the border...
That is, provided that the troops (from all states) will willingly threaten fellow Americans with firearm enforcement.
This is truly fascinating.
