Is this software that you have to purchase to use on your own computer? Why should we Christians have to worry about it? We just don’t have to buy it.

Absent any transcendent material moral authority, which the Bible supremely is, atheism can easily justify whatever furthers its goals. Just ask Mao, Pol Pot, etc.

It wouldn't be the first time Christans have had to deal with censorship.

Obama’s Marxist implementors have argued that children need to be protected from some of the truly horrifying imagery in the religious texts. Penn Jillette (a most disgusting vulger blasphemous man), of the comedy-magic duo Penn and Teller, said of GodBlock via Twitter, “Finally some software to help your children avoid dangerous crazy violent sick sh*t that we have proof does real damage.” Really!

Saw Penn on his Maher knockoff about a month ago, of course his standard panel question "Who's an atheist?". And three of them shot up their hand and started ranting BUT Martin Mull said he had gone very recently from atheist to agnostic, and also went on to describe how he had replaced doubt with some rudimentary formative beliefs in a higher power. And the three were stuned beeber style.

Supporters of GodBlock, which includes the Obama Administration and the Communists who gloat that they have already taken over America, say that “ the program is necessary to shield kids from information that will lead them into organized religion.”

Would it be too much to ask for a link citing who said that quote? Forgive my skepticism, but I find it hard to believe that any president's administration would make such a statement.

Does the author have proof that the Administration supports or endorses this product? I don't see it in the article.

What the f are you doing? The Godblock site is all proxied up (surprise, surprise). It doesn’t hold the logo you’re blathering about, a disgusting logo, yes, but not the CPUSA.

It looks like a hoax of some kind, quite likely done up by one or more of the critters mentioned in the original blog - the blogger himself or/and that linked reverend. In any case, I just grabbed the whole bunch of crazies and dumped them in here: http://www.junipersec.com

The author of this article is either a moron or trolling for morons.

1. This is a product created by private citizens for use by private citizens who choose to use it. It is not being forced on anybody, nor does it doesn’t prevent anyone from writing about God; it simply allows insecure chumps to configure their browsers so they can only read things they agree with. It’s stupid and cowardly, and ultimately going to cause these atheists to lose arguments due to self-inflicted ignorance of opposing viewpoints, but it’s still their liberty to take.
2. Where’s the proof that the Obama administration endorses this or any similar product?

Please, don’t give legitimacy to the claim that Christians have a persecution complex.

GodBlock is now up and running. Its purpose, according to its designers, “Is to test each page that your child visits before it is loaded, looking for passages from holy texts, names of religious figures, and other signs of religious propaganda. If none are found, then your child is allowed to browse freely.”

This "GodBlock" filter isn't something I personally would ever buy and install on my kids' computer, but people have a right to run their own computers how they want and raise their kids in whatever way seems best to them. It doesn't appear from the article that this product is being forced on anyone.

This appears to be a private project not associated with the federal government. I do not like or support Obama, but this has nothing to do with him.

I’m confused as to how a private software internet site blocker, that a (misguided, but freely entitled) atheist wants to put on his/her computer is somehow connected to Obama.

The hysterical and misleading title just takes away the real horrors that Obama is doing daily by displaying false connections.
