Q: What is the Socialist International?
A: It is the worldwide organization of socialist, social democratic and labor parties. It currently brings together 131 political parties and organizations from all continents. Its origins go back to the early international organizations of the labor movement of the last century.* It has existed in its present form since 1951, when it was re-established at the Frankfurt Congress. They are now headquartered in London, England.
* In 1864, representatives of English and French industrial workers founded the International Workingmen’s Association in London. Karl Marx, who was living in London at the time, became the First International’s dominant figure. Marx’s doctrines were revived in the 20th century by Russian revolutionary Vladimir Ilich Lenin, who developed and applied them – and we all know that what was started as a labor movement ended up as the biggest totalitarian/communist state, i.e., the USSR.

A: Eleven: John Conyers [Chairman of the Judiciary Committee], Tammy Baldwin, Jerrold Nadler, Luis Gutierrez, Melvin Watt, Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, Steve Cohen, Barbara Lee, Robert Wexler, Linda Sanchez [there are 23 Democrats on the Judiciary Committee of which eleven, almost half, are now members of the DSA].

our local rural news paper is full of letters to the editers crying that its untrue to call obama socialist becuase we still private ownership and even the workers owning the business they work at is not true socialism. is anyone else seeing this in their local papers ...and there is no rebut from the right.
Good luck with that, they’re from commie congressional districts. The trick is to never elect libs in moderate and conservative areas. To do this we need a free press. How do we get one?
a Socialist is a Communist in denial.
If they in fact swear to uphold the Constitution, then create any legislation that destroys the Constitution, are they then not liable for false testimony in court?

My list as of Feb 2010 listed 72 members of the House of Representatives as Members of the Progressive Caucus.
Looks like 2 are now hiding.
And for a time the list was removed altogether from the House.gov website.
Identify the enemy and then defeat him. Beginning in November.
Every single member on that list should be arrested, tried for treason, and publicly hanged.
So these American law makers belong to an organization that is a component of a larger more powerful international governing body?
Yep, they all took oaths to protect and defend the Constitution. All have broken that oath repeatedly. It is time for trials, convictions and punishments.
Does that define divided loyalty?
Is that Treason?
If so, Penalty?
And how many of those are democrats?
It’s the responsibility of their opposition to get the word out to everybody just who these people are, and what it is they intend to do to us, and our country. I don’t hear a damned thing from the opposition leadership (Republicans), only members of FRee Republic occasionally posting the facts about the Progressive Caucus Communists in our Congress.
It’s truly a shame that we are dependant upon such lame leadership. Perhaps we could get the New Media to carry the news of the Progressive Caucus more often, and get the point across WHO THESE PEOPLE IN CONGRESS ARE.

My degreed brother-in-law and I were discussing communism one day. He didn't see a problem with it declaring, "It's just a different type of economic system."
Of course he's a Democrat.
