Thanks. You know, this is a funny thing. I’ve been a Freeper for more than 10 years but its been about 10 years since I’ve made a single post, and then within the last 24 hours I made about 100 posts, including more than a dozen article articles. Not sure what got into me. Today I feel a little bit like Howard Beals, the TV weatherman in the film, Network.

Thank you. The whole ‘got to take out the Iranian Mullahs’ reminds me of the ‘urgency’ to take out Saddam Hussein when in actuality Hussein was a secularist and not a religious Muslim. He ruled with strength, keeping the Muslims in check.

Now if we tip the balance of power, it will be the rise of the House of Sunni.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m no fan of the Iranian mullahs. But I’m explaining that one hornets nest replaces the other.

Perhaps. Time will tell. A lot of other things may be happening between now and September.

Thank you very much. One thing I did not mention in my post is that Saudi Arabia has about 95 nuclear tipped missiles stashed in their desert, if Avi Lipkin has that accurately. You may recall that it was Avi whose wife Rachael translated the Nile TV broadcast of Egyptian foreign minister Gheit saying Obama told him he was a Muslim. I first posted that story on WebToday and about a month later Pam Geller took it and did a better job getting it out to the masses than I did. The under reported story now is the nukes in the desert.

Let’s put it this way. Obama would much prefer to have Israel do his dirty work so he can condemn Israel. But there is no love lost between Sunni Barack Hussein and the Mullahs of Iran. Yes, if push comes to shove, even Sunnis and Shiites can unite against a common enemy (Jews or The West) but they still don’t like each other. The book of Genesis in the bible predicted all this, that Ishmael (the future Muslims) would be a wild ass of a man whose hands would be against his neighbors and their hands against him, pretty much perpetually, and that has been true for thousands of years.

I can see you know more about this than I. You correctly wrote ‘Shi’a’ and I incorrectly wrote Shiite. I book Avi Lipkin and Walid Shoebat (former terrorist, now a Christian) on talk shows to help get their message out. They are the experts. I fall into the category of ‘a little knowledge is a dangerous thing’ to some degree in this matter.

Not sure. He could save til than it to save himself. Or he can pull two rabbits out of the same hat, one as an October surprise now and another later. Not sure.

No doubt about it, Muslims hate the West and Israel much more than they hate each other, but they still dislike each other. The bible predicted this in Genesis: Ishmael will be a wild ass of a man with his hands against his brothers and their hands against him.

How so? Please educate us. My post was speculation based on conversations I’ve had with Avi Lipkin, the man whose wife Rachael intercepted Egyptian Foreign Minister Gheit saying Obama told him he was Muslim. Do you think that is also bunk?

October surprise this would be.

I think an Obama late October attack on Iran is entirely plausable. Why not?

Palin has called him out on his manifest lack of cojones. That's hitting him "where it hurts." It's a direct challenge to his very self-image as a Great Man.

I would not be at all surprised if he did something--extreme.

My money so far has been on stealing the November election to ensure Democrat control of Congress, but an Iran strike might be an element in that overall strategy.

The alleged battle between two of the number of sects of Islam, Sunni and Shi'a, for supremacy is overstated and overblown. Moreover, there are a considerable number of Shi'a in the gulf besides in Iran. 70% of Bahrain is Shi'a; 10% to 15% in Saudi Arabia [yes, there is discrimination and restrictions on Shi'a religious practices]; 16% in the UAE, etc. There are plenty of Shi'a in Pakistan and India. Shi'a still go to Mecca/Medina to perform the haj.

The Sunni make up 85% to 90% of Muslims. They have already won the battle of supremacy.

The idea that Obama is part of some plan to eradicate the shi'a is just plain fantasy. Or your ridiculous assertion that the Saudis hold nuclear tipped missiles. If that were ever the case, the Israelis would have already wiped them out. They certainly didn't tolerate the Chinese Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles that were brought in the late 1980s.

I don't believe Obama is a Muslim or a Christian. He sees religion as a means to an end. He is not a believer in anything except himself.

I know far less than I should. I was not criticizing you at all.

Thank you for spreading the word. I’ve been flamed here for suggesting that Islam is far more complex than many think, and for suggesting more understanding of it would be beneficial. I hope that maybe such opposition is changing.

Thank you again for your brilliant post. We're all feeling it I think. I don't know how to describe the feeling that I've had over the last 2 years of some kind of imminent struggle and an element of danger. I am not usually in a state of paranoia, so I can't figure it out.

We're all mad as hell and have put that energy into the Tea Party, local politics, our families, preparedness....I don't know. I have to point the finger of blame at myself because I was as complacent as anyone else for years. Don't pull a Howard Beal at the end stunt though! We need everyone out there putting up the articles and posts.

Wow. Talk about a game-changer.

I wasn't aware of this.

Makes a lot of terrible sense.

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.
