I favor some kind of service requirement after high school. My ideas may be idealistic but they do differ greatly from Obama's proposed "Service Corps"! None of that "Green" bull***t! I am talking about real service. Take the place of the national guard at the border and in emergencies. For youngsters who refuse to join or, once in, cop an attitude and refuse to cooperate, they give up any right to future benefits at the expense of the taxpayer - health, welfare, child support, food stamps, etc.

It isn't a perfect idea, but there are so many kids who graduate high school with no ambition. They have been told for twelve years that they are special and can do anything. No one tellsl them life comes with responsibilities.

If I had to choose between service and N0bama’s green-eteering hands down I’d pick the service. But I don’t think the gov. requiring service of ppl is the right way to do it.
