A twenty nine year old memory that just happens to exactly fit a strongly desired meme isn't the best thing to bet on.

You might ask yourself: If this did actually happen as Race remembers it, and it was indeed BHO, then BHO spoke very freely about his birthplace in his youth. It becomes somewhat odd that there's no other record of this. BHO’s Marxist outlook and views are well documented. Why no mention of African birth through the late 80’s and early 90’s when he was trying to develop a black identity?

Maybe because that would have made him a KENYAN and NOT an AFRICAN-AMERICAN, because it was an AFRICAN-AMERICAN IDENTITY he was 'TRYING TO DEVELOP'.

He was already black, after all.
