No way! We must concentrate on all constitutional issues.

If you want to see an empty field just tell the RKBA activists, the right to life activists and other social issue groups to stay home. The tax issue people need to come right out and tell people if you are pushing for a constitutional convention hoping to change the tax structure. See how far you get with people then!

I'm about as pro-RTKBA as they come. I don't see RTKBA as needing to be an official Tea Party issue. The purpose of the Tea Party is to cut government spending and taxation. Period. If you want to promote RTKBA, organize an RTKBA rally.

Multiplying issues diverts focus, and not everybody is in lockstep on all the issues. For example, I've met a number of anti-abortion Christians who are very much against any reduction in welfare, since eliminating welfare might cause a young woman to choose abortion.
