I know no one pays any attention to or reads the US Constitution anymore but what is a Federal Judge doing deciding this matter. I thought the election process from the individual states was governed by the states. Shouldn’t this be decided in a state court?
Well, to cover his rear-end the Ill. Gov. was the one that made the “official” call for the special election, but it was after the judge had his say. So, the judge really made the call.
