And if they didn't want people to link directly they wouldn't supply the URL.

That argument has nothing to do with the fact that the lame blog in question does
nothing but embed videos which it did not create and post a teaser about them here.

Then folks who wish to view the video must visit the lame blog.

Shibumi provided a direct link as a service to those who do
not wish to visit a blog but may still wish to see the video.

I fail to see the problem with this.

Don't feel bad. Your initial reaction is completely understandable.

There are some great bloggers who post here on FR, and who contribute to FR as members of its community, both with their commentary, time and financial support. Jeff Head, Reaganite Republican, The Looking Spoon, scottfactor, Lloyd Marcus and many others. (I apologize for not listing everyone of the “good guys” here.)

Then there are those who just leech of the traffic, pimping for hits, using the platform we all provide to further their own agenda. No original content, no commentary and a misleading teaser to get you to their website, spamming FR two to four times in a single day - like the blogger who started this thread. (Out of courtesy, I pinged Little Jimmie in case he wants to try to prove me wrong.)
