This “report” has been discussed on forums that have Border Patrol Agents and it has been completely debunked—the report is hype.

Further, my son, a Border Patrol Agent in AZ, refutes this as well. He says, “Dad, we go where we da*n well please, anytime we want, wherever we want.”

Dever, a native of Cochise County, has been in local law enforcement in the county for three decades. He was elected the county sheriff in 1996.
