Not at all. It just shows that Olson is motivated by reason, logic, and the rule of law rather than blind emotion and hysteria.

Olson is a traitor.

But then I suspect you agree with the 9th. circuit decision that claiming military medals you didn’t earn (stolen valor) is logical, reasonable and lawful.

I’m not sure about that totally, but I am leaning that way. This mosque could be everything folks say, a victory monument to a death cult locally led by a terrorist sympathizer if not one himself. But if that is the only reason to block it, it is going to get built. It is America after all.

I am actually more upset about how the greek orthodox were treated. Ground zero is being hailed as some sacred piece of ground, but lets face it, this was no Pearl Harbor. We were caught with our pants down when we knew better, and if ground zero is a monument to anything, it is to that of the broken liberal NY government for letting it sit this long. Fill in the damn hole, put up a plaque to remember what happened there and build baby build!

To the contrary, Ted appears to be motivated by knee-jerk emotionalism, not wanting to appear "intolerant."

Reason and logic, if applied to this case, would show the idea of this mosque at GZ to be a very bad idea. And I mean a very bad idea for *Muslims*.

Given the overwhelmingly negative reaction of the community and nation at large, do you think forcing the mosque construction will advance or hinder good relations between the faiths? It hasn't even been built yet and tempers are already flaring.

There has been remarkably little backlash against Muslims in the wake of 9/11. But if I were a Muslim and wanted to keep it that way, then I would want this mosque issue to go away very quickly. Then I would declare a jihad on the idiots who conceived the idea.

Olson is just another salon Republican scared of his shadow...of course you all hide behind protests jingoism and beg for sophisticated thought, but we know the truth.

We have seen it play out for decades in Europe.

And now they are dhimmis of the first order.

True. It’s a tough row to hoe, but somebody has to do it.
