Although I'd prefer if public sentiment were the determining factor over bureaucratic force.
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
1. The building has to be shorter than all other surrounding building. No allowing the mosque to be built high enough to see Ground Zero.
2. No restrictions be put on the street vendors at all. Hell I will drive from Colorado just to have a few genuine pure pork sausages in front of that place.
3. No objection to any proposed establishments in the area. Not that I support the lifestyle nut the muslim gay bar “You Mecca me HOT”, I will tolerate.
4. No restrictions on the labor that will be used to build that build of hate and intolerance. Again I do not support unions but I am pretty sure a lot of the workers are gonna enjoy BLT sandwich's and "Oops", happens to spill the container of pig fat on the framework. Hell again I will drive there to provide the sandwich's along with a full pork BBQ with lots of smoke to taint the so called mosque.
5. Allow any type of church to be built in Mecca that fully is allowed to freely praise and worship God and Jesus.

Done!
Done!
All concrete and paint used in the
construction must be infused with
pig DNA.
If an eternal-flame cross was installed on the front lawn of the White House to honor the life of Senator Byrd, would that be viewed differently? How about if the same display was erected on private property right next to the White Crib?

I still voted for the second. They can if they really want to. They’ll also annoy the heck out of quite a few of us if they do. It may well be worth it to US to have the people that irritated.
I think that instead of us rebuilding historic mosques, we should be rebuilding historic churches. Like Saint Sophia, in Istanbul. Or the old christian churches in Mecca and Medina that have been completely obliterated for over a thousand years.
