I wish it were as surprising as it is disturbing that nearly 20% of Americans now believe President Obama is a Muslim, but it’s not. Nor is it simply possible to explain the situation by asserting that that many Americans are kooks or idiots for believing it to be true, even though it is certainly not. So what is going on?
In a culture increasingly unable to distinguish between available data and reliable information, more and more Americans will think themselves justified in holding beliefs which have no basis in fact. And it is the glut of available data, available in far greater quantity and with far greater speed than most of us can handle intelligently, which contributes to the spread of absurd notions such as the one reported by this recent poll conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.

I know he isn’t a Muslim, he way to atheistic to be one. But I get a kick out of how much it bothers the MSM. Hell, didn’t nearly 20% believe that 9/11 was an inside job?
For starters, maybe because he talks about a religion followed by scarcely 1% of Americans more than he talks about the religion followed by 75% or so, and that was brought to this land by its original European settlers, and was followed by practically all the founders of the USA.
It could be the fact that the "church" he attended for decades in Chicago did not worship Jesus but hatred of the West - which seems to be the key focus of most mosques, to read the sermons of the world's prominent imams.
It could be the fact that he was raised as a Muslim in his formative years, that he still considers the Muslim call to prayer as "the most beautiful sound on earth", and that he can sing the Muslim creed in perfect Arabic.
It could be the fact he does not celebrate Christmas or throw birthday parties or go to church, but does publicly celebrate Iftar.
It could be the fact that the father who never really acknowledged but whom he obsessed over came from a Muslim family and that the mother who abandoned him but whom he longed for was a convert to Islam who spent the last decades of her life in Pakistan.
Maybe these kind of things confuse a certain number of Americans.

That 20% also believe that G.W. Bush could not tie his shoe laces.

One in five Americans believe Obamao is a Muslim because he acts accordingly. They know that even if he isn’t a Muslim, he will always kowtow to an Islamic agenda, like allowing Islamists to place a monument to the 911 terrorists at ground zero. It is what it is. He claims to be Christian, yet does absolutely nothing that supports that claim. Spending twenty-something years in a black liberation church doesn’t count. Jesus didn’t teach hate like commies and Muslims.
Do you have to bow to Mecca 6 times a day to be a Mohammedan?

Oops. Right. Same 20%. Not the same 20% who believe O is Muslim. Different 20% there. So where are the other 60%?
Fox or News Corp the parent company has at least 7% Saudi onwership. The other networks Time Warner/CNN, ABC/Disney, NBC/GE/Comcast also have Saudi investors.
I am not sure about Viacom/CBS. Keep watching TV because it supports Imam Obama. Keep watching ball games because the NBA, NFL, MBL, NCAA and ESPN are 100% in support of Obama too. The NFL would not allow Rush to own a team but allowed a Muslim with a very shady past buy one.
Did this Rabbi vote for Obama? The Imam Obama did get 78% of the Jewish vote.

1. His father was a Muslim, as was his step-father. By Muslim law, that makes Obama a Muslim; an apostate, possibly, but a Muslim.
2. There is some evidence of his enrollment in a school in SE Asia where his religion is listed as “Muslim.”
3. There are various gaffes “57 states” (57 Muslim States) and “My Muslim faith” that seem to indicate he’s a Muslim.
4. For what its worth, there is apparently an Egyptian Foreign Minister, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who claims that Obama admitted his Muslim faith to him.
5. His church, under “Reverend” Wright was certainly NOT Christian.
I’d say there is a bit of evidence with which to work.

The only time he quoted the Bible was during the healthcare debate when he said “The Bible says ‘I am my brother’s keeper’”.
First of all, the Bible does NOT say that. Cain said that as a snarky response when he was trying get out of trouble for murdering his brother.
Obama knows NOTHING about Christianity.
