I wonder if the writer is aware of the claim in another article that one of the people involved in the project was connected with 9/11.

The Christian book of Revelation describes a person called the anti-Christ who is Satan masquerading as Jesus Christ.

If the writer had read the Book of the Revelation, he would know that the term "anti-Christ" does not appear in the book at all.

The so-called “Non-violent” Muslims may not do the deeds themselves but they certainly support the violent actions of others.

I am going to have to see some serious action on the part of Muslims to be convinced that they don’t support violence. The only thing I have seen is “politicians” trying to convince me.

He made great points - even better it was an easy read. Thanks for posting it.

Even if we pretend for the moment that the Victory Mosque site was not chosen as a deliberate provocation, support for the site makes no sense. Imagine that the local school board decided to close Columbine High School due to the ongoing stress over the mass shooting of students there by a couple of evil thugs with firearms. Suppose that a gun club decided to buy the school and use it as a shooting range and as a training facility for urban combat. I would guess that well over 99% of Americans and the same percentage of gun owners would be outraged at the shocking insensitivity of such a plan. Why are we (especially what was supposed to be a free press) more sympathetic to outside forces representing Islam than we are to a comparably offensive idea that has no ties to the Muslim world? Even by the anti-American standards of today’s media, I don’t get it.
