Richard the Lion Hearted would roll over in his grave if he could see London today.

great article.

I try to explain this to friends and family who even today will say they are a peaceful religion.

I tell them “Your heart and kind spirit want to believe this. It is more noble to think of others sharing commonalities of getting kids off to school, going to work and making the best life for your family”.

Sadly, Moslems do not share that identity. Their goal is domination, subjugation and establishing the global caliphate.

I then run a quick history end it at the Battle of Tours, skip to Queen Isabella kicking their sorry Azz’s out of Spain, in 1491 and to celebrate, she commissioned some guy named Chris with some ships.

And that was the end of Moslem invasion which had covered 2/3rds of Europe.

I was just getting ready to circle back around and tackle this subject but you have done an excellent job.

Bravo.

And yes, the Knights Templar were the good guys.

They only became bad guys when some potentate type ran out of money and became very desirous of the Knights Templar banking system.

Seems they had a considerable amount of wealth in their system, in which the monied people could simply write a check, instead of carrying around large amounts of cash, gold, rubies, goats, etc.

So the avarice of the potentate type fella was all consuming and he rounded all of the Knights up on Friday the 13th(where we get the term from) and took em apart piece by piece, killing nearly everyone of them.

Thereafter lies and slander where foisted on their character and that is why people don’t think of them as good guys.

But, you would have to be pretty good guy to take Jerusalem back in the name of God, from the Moslem hordes who were doing everything they could to erase an evidence of Jewery in Israel, then called Palestine.

Further, you would really have to be a good guy to get a lot of really rich people, kingdoms, fiefdoms and countries to let you be their money managers.

Knights Templar = Good Guys.

Give this "potentate" a name, which he most certainly had. It was Philip II of France who did the deed, against Jacques De Molay and his bretheren.

Let the history be accurately completed...

The Knights Templar looked quite incredible back in the day. All white with a red cross. Knights Hospitaller are also quite a sight. All black with a white cross. The problem with winning the Crusades back then was that historically the Mongol Hordes invaded the area a little over 100 years later. They really wrecked Islam and set the region back quite a bit. So even if Christianity had won the Crusades or at least tamed Islam, the Mongols would have made it all for not. In one Mongol siege of an Islamic City the Mongol leader told the city leader that he was sent by their god to exact retribution by killing everyone in the city. The Mongols were the real bad ones back then. And they were Pagans just out having fun apparently.

Catholics holding Knights Templar in high esteem is contrary to their history.

Nonsense. Except for Clement. But aside from the betrayal of Clement, for their whole history the templars and the catholic church had a very close relationship.

"The problem with winning the Crusades back then was that historically the Mongol Hordes invaded the area a little over 100 years later."

The mongols and the crusaders toyed with the idea of forming an alliance against the muslims, but they were never able to make it happen.

I thought history showed the Mongols eventually became Islamic. Basically adopting the religion to make it easier to rule the Islamic Regions. What is your evidence for Crusader and Mongol collaboration ?

The Pope basically helped to establish the Templar Orders. Was all about protecting the pilgrims traveling to the holy sites.

I read it years ago, but if you google "crusader mongol alliance" you'll find plenty of evidence - even wikipedia has info.

The mongols did convert to islam, but that was after the time frame I'm speaking of.
