The American public is stupid. Palin with “restore honor” while she campaigned for Obama’s side kick McCain. Glen Beck is an anti-borther and a friend of O’Reillys at Fox/Saudia and people think he is a conservative.

Most of your points make sense Frantzie, except the comment about Beck. If this thread is any indication, Beck realizes that few have the focus, time, or interest in reading the constitution. This is a Constitutional issue and no one on this thread, granted that it is a “support Berg” thread, appears to understand, or to want to address the facts. Assuming that the public remains ignorant, and Obama keeps hiding documents, manufactured or not, which show that he was born in Hawaii, this is a losing battle for Beck or Levin or Limbaugh. Beck, at least, is keeping an audience by talking about founders and framers, even if he avoids the founders and framers whose involvement with and use of the natural born citizen provision might expose his evasion, Jay, Jefferson, Story, Wilson, Ramsay, Marshall, Waite, and Bingham (included as a framer since he wrote the original 14th amendment draft).

It is simply a fact that Alwaleed bin Talal is News Corp’s largest stockholder. Of course, if we don't protect the Saudi's he won't last long, so its not possible to know the extent of his editorial control. But this may be a country incapable of making the connections which finds it easier to discuss current rumors than to learn about our foundation. There are certainly Free Republic writers who understand. It may be that those who understand don't bother with anything that mentions Berg. It could even be, as I've seen on some threads, that most respondents who understand stay away, since absence of reason means these people mean to distract.

Birth to a foreign father made Obama ineligible. Discovery of a valid Hawaiin long form birth certificate doesn't make Obama a natural born citizen. Lack of a birth certificate might show that Obama is not even a citizen. He wasn't challenged because McCain too was ineligible. It was a clever political trap, and McCain was probably an active participant. The Tea Party people I've spoken with have no doubt that Obama is illegitimate because he is a born British subject. A Berg rally of any sort will simply be dismissed, as it probably should be. the people on this list who aren't obama supporters would to well to read the Constitution and at least one case: pick The Venus, Minor v. Happesett, Perkin v. Elg, Wong Kim Ark noting that Wong Kim was born on our soil and not made a natural born citizen, even Dred Scott got natural born citizenship right.
