I don't think so -- Krauthammer is downright brilliant most of the time. But he is a creature of the DC-NY corridor, and I believe he has misread the tidal wave that is sweeping across the "rest" of the country. Very few people in DC and NYC have any grasp of the degree and depth of revulsion that has built up toward Washington.
They would be shocked. And I believe they will be.

I haven't been following the debate on this all that closely (though I've been following the race). Seems to me that few have wondered whether this could ever happen to the Republicans ---

He is a NeoCon and much of other criticisms of O'Donnell have come from the Weekly Standard(NeoCons) so it is about some foreign policy issue, and, as you say, it could be Israel

I don't think he has a personal problem - I just think that he doesn't understand the enormous anger and resolve that the people presently have. People everywhere are genuinely ticked at the government and we want, no, we DEMAND that it change. We want our constitutional republic back and we're willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
He looks out from the ivory tower and sees grumbling masses. He needs to come down and talk to those of us that are absolutely sick and tired of Washington. This country is a powderkeg, ready to explode in violence, but the media can't or won't see it.
Nah. He's fine with women with ivy league degrees. Farleigh Dickinson or University of Idaho, not so much.
