There is a war for the heart and soul of the Republican party now.
And you chose your side. You are with the Roves, the Castles, the Crists, and the Murkowskis. You are with the Ruling Class Establishment RINOs who lord over the Republicans and use fear and smears to keep their power. O’Donnell is a real person who has lived a real life, not a blue blood from the country club groomed her whole life by her daddy and his consultants to be part of the Ruling Class. O’Donnell has less “weirdness” in her history than me, and probably most regular people.
Rove clearly wants Coons to win. He was doing the Democrats’ dirty work for them, peddling their lies and innuendos to O’Donnell’s base after the primary, when her only opponent is Coons, and the only result of his actions could be Coons gaining support and O’Donnell losing it.
He is a POS, and so is anyone playing apologist for him.
You make my point for me. You can’t stand to even be challenged. You can’t even engage in civil discourse. I’m as conservative (at least) as you are, and I even support your candidate, even though I have some reservations about her. I haven’t challenged a single one of the principles she’s running on. I went to Washington with my family last year to attend the Tea Party in September.
I’m merely pointing out that I can understand Rove’s reaction, to a degree.
But that’s just not good enough for you. We haven’t even won anything yet, and you’re ready to purge the ranks. You even resort to name calling.
This is an off-year election with the ruling party unpopular and in trouble, where enthusiasm and turnout will be decisive. But if you’re ready to jettison the entire Republican establishment, that’s going to be a problem in 2012. What do you think you’re going to replace it with? You don’t want Rove. You must really hate Krauthammer now, as well, since he voiced the same concerns as Rove. Those are two pretty big, pretty effective voices for conservatism that you are ready to cast aside over a single marginal candidate. I guess the NRO folks are out, too.
But, hey your “POS” diatribe will take up all the rhetorical slack, I’m sure...
I don’t know why I’m bothering with this, since you’ve already ignored much of what I had already written in previous posts (I support Mike Castle? Really?).
But, for the record, I sent Murkowski an angry email a couple of hours ago over her decision to run as a write-in. So, strike two....
