when a food stamp recipient is in front of me in the check out line, I think the same thing.
There is a gov program that already limits purchases to only healthy foods it is called WIC - women-infants-children.
Only eggs, milk, cheese, certain cereals etc. No junk.
I hate to see Food Stamp people getting things I can’t buy - you know - fancy stuff - expensive non-nutritious stuff.
They could just make FS program mimic WIC.
