Molly Norris is a cartoonist. On her blog she suggested that there be a "Draw Mohammed" Day in a tongue in cheek effort to protest the Comedy Channel's censorship of a South Park episode. It blew up on her.
If the Internet respected intentions, Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris might have had a good May."It's been horrible," Norris said from her home Wednesday. "I'm just trying to breathe and get through it."
It is a culturally, religiously and even racially charged viral movement Norris sparked in April when she drew a cartoon to protest Comedy Central's decision to nix a recent "South Park" episode that tested the taboo on depicting the Prophet Muhammad. Her cartoon featured a proclamation that Thursday, May 20, be "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day."

At the urging of the FBI, Molly Norris, the Seattle-based illustrator and cartoonist whose satirical drawing marking "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" resulted in death threats, global protests and impassioned debate about religion and censorship, has been forced to change her name and abandon her former life as a result of her controversial cartoon.
"Draw Mohammed Day" never happened, but that doesn't matter, just like the non-burning of the Qur'an by Terry Jones. Everyone's favorite Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki has publicly ordered her death.

If the FBI were called in to deal with a rabid dog, they’d shoot it, not take the threatened innocent away.
She should not have anything to worry about. The moderate Muslims, and there are soooooooo many of them, we’ve been told, will take to the streets in protest of their more militant brethern.
At the risk of being repetative (my appologies to the mod’s) I’m going to say once again what I posted previously about this topic.
This is my fear:
This first time a cartoonist (or commentator, or whatever) is forced into hiding there’s outrage - as well there should be. But no one, no organization, takes action to help.
Then the second time it happens, everyone just looks away and moves on. No more outrage.
Then there will be no third time. Because no more free speech.
It’s just like the old story of the frog sitting in a pot of water as the water’s temperature is slowly increased. The frog just sits there, looks dumb, and dies.
What’s the solution? Well, I’ve made many arguments on this forum against Palin running in 2012.
I was wrong. The country needs someone with the raw courage to take action. The solution is Palin.

My thought processes have been channelling lately in this direction as well.
Racking my brain, trying to come up with viable future leaders who will stand up to the non-judgmental, PC that is destroying not just our nation, but western culture itself, Sarah Palin stands almost alone.
That said, when the time comes, in my small way, I fully intend to act as a ferocious pulling guard who will run devastating downfield interference for whatever conservative will lead this country back to its rightful place.
Islamists becoming less tolerant of our western world views.
We are becoming more and more tolerant of their views and the mass media is making Islamists exempt from criticism.
Must I point out that the solution here is a simple one. This trend must be reciprocal. As the Islamic world becomes less tolerant of the west, we become less tolerant of 6th century radical cult theocracies like Islam.
This is remedial level reasoning a 6-year old could understand.
Some PERSON have in the past used “X” for Christ,like when meaning Christmas(XMAS)! Maybe those persons should start using “Y” for the Mo’slem great one {Y’lem}!
