Sounds like hate speech. Just like when he used the n-word as a slur on Larry King this week.
Bill Maher, you need to sign off the air just like Dr. Laura.

So, is Mahr admitting that he is so weak minded he can be controlled by “incontinent, paunchy, racist church-goers”?

What is it called when someone has paranoid delusions that someone with paranoid delusions is out to get him?

I refuse to watch anything he's a part of. It just so happens to be called a remote control. So there, Bill Mahr. Whether you admit it or not, it's a fact.

Paranoid projection.
Or, in this case, ‘stupid’.

I always suspected that someone incontinent lived in Bill Maher’s head. Never thought he’d come right out with it, though. Is it time to have him committed yet?

They try to telepathically communicate with their imaginary friend. These [churches] are places that fleece people and scare people and they perpetuate mass delusion. We shouldnt build any of them. So why doesn't he use the word "mosque" in place of "church" and stand firm in his opposition to a mosque at ground zero or anywhere else?

I dare you to go out in front of the NYC Victory Mosque and say that. He is willing to call church going Christians dangerous, because he knows that in fact they pose no danger at all to him personally. But I will bet everything I own the is not willing to take on the guys who wouldn't hesitate in blowing him to heck for insulting their holy book. He is a stinking coward who can't stand anyone who disagrees with him.

Maher is one of those once-enjoyable comedians/humorists who once entertained, but have become so egotistically left that they actually think that anyone gives a damn about their mean-spirited, paranoid fantasies and ramblings.
This happened to Roseanne Barr, Rose O’Donnell and some others whose names will quietly slip into the cesspool of useless history.
As noted, Dennis Miller presents a really good and well thought out rant, and the late comedian George Carlin also did a very funny one about golf courses. But in the end, they didn’t take themselves so seriously as to think that they had ascented Mt. Olympus and stood on an intellectually superior pedestal looking down upon us dumb peons and unwashed serfs.
Maher is a legend in his own mind. So are all the guys in insane asylums who think that they are Napoleon. The only difference between them is that they wear straitjackets and live in padded cells. Maher lives in luxury and probably LA/Hollyweird. Then again, that may not be so much of a difference as I once thought.
To: Michael van der Galien
His mindset towards people who are not like him is colored by the blackness of heart that typifies those. Who do not believe in God but in themselves. He deserves our pity and needs our prayers.

This is one sick person. Maher needs some serious psychiatric work.
