I think I may know the real reason Murkowski is doing this. Her loss was a real shock to her. She still has over a million in campaign funds. She has no chance to win as a write-in.

I think the real reason she is doing this is so she can pay her campaign staff another two months and use up all those campaign funds. She isn’t going to turn over her money to Joe Miller. Maybe she wants to reward those who have been loyal to her.

I hope this is the reason and hopefully she will “mail it in” (not try very hard) the next couple of months, while her staff continues to collect a salary.

No, she is doing it because she wants Miller (and Palin) to lose. She’s a vindictive spoiled brat who will fail in herobejective since not many like her enough to go to the effort of writing in her name.

Believe it or not, when a politician either loses an election, or retires, they are legally allowed to use the funds for personal expenses. Its basically a nice retirement nest egg, along with the pension.
