If I can pray for Obama’s salvation, I can pray for Ramon’s...which reminds me: I need to pray for forgiveness for cussing Obama. Do you suppose Jesus REALLY meant it when he said,
“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?”?
Of course He meant it. We need to love like Jesus loved. Sometimes that meant touching the untouchable. Sometimes that meant a verbal tongue-lashing. Depends on what the person needs for their salvation. The broken sinner needs forgiveness. The arrogant sinner needs a kick in the pants. All of it is love for the person in the condition they’re in.
