I have a simple solution for Barry and Michelle’s problems: Coronate them King and Queen. They then can keep all the trappings of leadership, but none of the responsibilities. This can be the American answer to the Affirmative Action Presidency. ‘Let them eat cake’ can resound throughout the land, without guilt.
May I suggest reversing the order. Let Barry be Queen and then Michelle could be King. It somehow seems more appropriate.
