Should they allow everyone that can make it on the ballot into the debates?

Whoever the candidate for the Communist Party U.S.A. is, I think that person should be allowed into the debate. I find it very instructive to let the citizens see how closely the CPUSA candidate's position lines up with the Democrats position on issues.

Yes they should. What are they afraid of an inexperienced candidate? What irks me the most is that Mark Kirk did not show up for one debate in Illinois for the primary. Not one.
He rode out the primary like a coward and now he wants people to just vote for him and hope that he keeps his word and votes against Cap and Trade if it comes up in the lame duck?

I’ve always been an advocate of letting everyone into the debates who make the ballot. I believe that the law should require that a certain number of official debates be held and that those who are state licensed media must cover them as a condition of licensing. That would be real campaign reform. Instead they want to limit how much information the voters get such as with McCain Feingold.
