I caught some vintage performances on YT of Utopia as I experienced them, uh, three times, in the mid-1970s, and again in the early 1980s. Those live shows seemed so on the nose, so great, it was nice to see my memory hadn't grown fonder over time. He's quite a jerk -- as he displayed at least once on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect" -- which may account for his dismissal by a lot of people in and out of the biz; but he's a pile of talent, a wizard, a true star.
